Jeannie, You're onto me. I have a tag obsession. I think it has something to do with believing that the right person will type the right magical word string into Google and stumble upon my blog...and voila! The world is my oyster (or something like that).

Having read Zrocks comment, I'm realizing I over shared on the snot man story...or maybe that was his fault (and Uncle Andy's?) and not mine?

This brought back "fond" memory of childhood, and the master or "nose relief" without the help of modern paper products. My mother's uncle, Uncle Andy, from the "old country" had the procedure down. He would cock his head to the right, close the left nostril with his left index finger and, always remembering which way the wind was blowing, clear the right nostril. Reposition for the wind and reverse for the left.
In his younger years I'm told, he had real power and the wind was not a factor, repositioning unnecessary.
We kids knew when we saw him going into the classic head cock, Look Away! The sound was quite enough.
Everyone should know this move, so that they too can look away in time.
